 Our Mission
Regeneration of India through True Democracy

Respected Patriots,
"Great India", a strong and prosperous India, is my cherished dream - as is of any true patriot. But moron management of our society by opportunistic political leaderships is leading us to ridiculous imbroglios. Every body, from common-men to our social and political leaders and intelligentsia are crying about our society’s overall degeneration. Signals of degeneration are aplenty: Wide spread corruption Moral decay of the masses, Growing communal schism, Degeneration of National level political parties to insignificance, Proliferation of disintegrative forces of regional/ethnic/casty political parties and they gaining decisive prominence, Hung parliaments, Instabilities & inefficiencies of governments, Intermittent elections, and most impotently … the Character-crisis in socio-political leadership and Loss of faith in institutions – including the judiciary... Hypocrisy, sycophancy and cowardice are being identified as our national traits. All these are symptoms of a decaying society. Concerned with this degeneration, many are trying one way or the other, fighting against one or the other factor mentioned above, to redeem our society from this pathetic degeneration. Mostly, on long term, those efforts have not yet made any dent on the degradation.
  • My humble endeavor is just a part of such efforts, but with a significant difference. I have analyzed and reasonably discounted that all those factors - corruption to communalism … and even malfunction of our political leadership and institutions - are not the causes of degradation; and that they are just symptoms of our society’ degradation. And that our political system itself, the genetically flawed Democracy we practice further manipulated and distorted by our opportunistic leadership, is the real villain, the basic cause, producing all those ill symptoms.
A vibrant democracy may be compared with a multi-floor pyramid with two doors, each with opposite characters, on each floor. ‘One door, from the layer just bellow it, continuously attracts and filters-in the most competent ones to govern the concerned layer, while the other door continuously purge any one seen not-so-competent during their limited reign there. Hence the ‘better’ keep rising while even the ‘good’ fall on the wayside - facilitating continuous rejuvenation of the leadership at each level and making sure that the most competent among the aspirants would reach the apex of the (concerned) pyramid.
Unfortunately those doors are malfunctioning in Indian (and many third world) Democracy: attracting and filtering-in the vicious self-serving opportunistic sycophants and purging any one exhibiting a grain of competence and integrity, causing Character-crisis in political leadership – the most debilitating primary symptom of our society’s degeneration. I believe, as prophesied by Dr. Rjendraprasad while presenting our constitution to the nation, that ‘if our elected representatives are competent men of integrity and character they can deliver good to the society even if this constitution is defective and lead us to prosperity. ‘But if they are lacking in those qualities …’
But unfortunately authors of our constitution (were they authoring or copying?) neither put procedures to assure that only the right persons with virtuous qualities would raise through the ladders of political leadership hierarchy and get elected as our representatives to appropriate elected bodies, nor did they put checks to obstruct the wrong persons getting elected. The vested interests exploited this weakness to facilitate induction of their lackeys to perpetuate their hold in appropriate levels of power and even foster their dynastic ambitions, causing ‘Character-crisis’ in our political leadership. And our Constitution, despite being one of the bulkiest one in the world was, as was afraid to be, surely defective, needing nearly hundred amendments in less than 50 years…
The political system we follow, the ‘Westminster Parliamentary system’, is a system that froze somewhere in the mid-way, refusing to complete its evolution form a Kingdom to democracy. We identify the ‘Genetic flaw of this parliamentary system’ as the second most important cause (after the ‘Character-crisis’) of the degradation of our society. This flaw allow the vicious political leadership to cause the proliferation of political parties, to aggravate schisms of our communal diversities… it also cause inefficiencies, instabilities, intermittent elections and many related ill symptoms. My endeavor is to expose these dangerous flaws and its effects and to rectify them.
I profess that if and when we rectify those flaws (especially the character-crisis) and practice a true democracy, it would bring-in competent persons with integrity and character to the political leadership, catalyze a political polarization, eliminate the destabilizing forces of regional and ethnic political parties and splinter groups of maverick leaders and prune the system to a healthy two/three party scenario. It would avoid compulsion for coalitions, its related instability and intermittent elections; would usher in competence, efficiency and stability.
I am convinced, during my initial efforts and interactions with celebrity reformers, that our existing social and political leaders, reformers and the pretentious intelligentsia, being products and beneficiaries of this rotten system and fearful of loss of loopholes that allow them to manipulate the society and the system to fulfill their personal agenda, would strive to hinder any effort to rectify such flaws. So if any change is to happen, it should come form us, the common-men - victims of this flawed system.
Participation of all patriotic Indians, who long for a strong and prosperous India, who dream a GREAT INDIA, is solicited in this patriotic endeavor. It is time to wake up, grow out of narrow party politics, re-evaluate our priorities and dedicate ourselves to the service of our Motherland, to save her from the clutches of this debilitating degeneration.
