Remember showing strains of an iconoclastic attitude, questioning Head Master for… and getting caned, even during primary school level. First touch with politics Through Students Union while studying Survey at Chalakudy ITI and was instrumental in getting Govt. approval for Students Union in ITIs all over Kerala. |

After some friction with an emerging local politician at home village, who eventually rose to become a prominent leader of his party and a Minister Kerala Govt., for standing against his ‘son of soil’ vote bank politics, was exiled to Bombay by my parents. From Bombay also I had to run away for standing against Trade Union Gundaism, and got smuggled into Dubai through a country-boat as an illegal emigrant. |

After flirting with some contractors as surveyor, joined Government of Fujairah (Fujairah Municipality, UAE) in December 1073. There I literally built-up brick by brick the Lands & Survey Department while rising to the post of Chief Surveyor, and further to the post of ‘Inspector of Border Problems’ in the Secretariat under the patronage of H.H.Sh. Hamad bin Mohamed Al-Sharqui, the benevolent ruler of the state/emirate who command my whole hearted respect and gratitude. |

My wisdom about the flaws in our democracy and its remedies were happened to me during my service at Fujairah. Print media of UAE, wide open to events in all parts of the world, with its near non-partisan and profound articles, may have helped me to understand and compare events in our society with that of rest of the world. Indian media in general, compared to that of UAE, is partisan and shallow. |

Despite my efforts to retire from service in 1997 to propagate my ideals of ‘Great India’ H.H. Sh. Hamad, with his wise advice, had restrained me from such a suicidal jump as myself was not secure financially. At last in 2003 I managed to retire with the intention to spare more time and effort to rectify anomalies in our political system and regenerate India to attain my cherished dream of ‘Great India’. |
| |
As a prelude to retirement and to generate enough money to finance my ‘Great India’ activities, I had started a scientific shrimp farm, in 1999 itself. But for initial failures in the farming…. I got immersed in the farming/aqua-culture activity pushing the political reformation to the back-burner. And the gainer is the Shrimp farming in Kerala, an activity with very high potential of profit and development. Today my farm stands out as a success, in the middle of ruins, with necessary technical and scientific inputs to make it a fairly fail proof activity. |

Now, with the farming activity having stabilized, I intend to proceed further on the ‘Great-India’ road. Publication of my book ‘Indian Democracy – problems and Solutions is the first step in that direction. |
